Samantha Mohr
Entering her first pageant at the advice of a fellow UGA student, Mohr won the Miss Columbus 1985 title. Her win allowed her to participate in the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. Mohr received The title Miss Georgia 1985 on the 22nd June, 1985. Over $3500 was given Mohr with a scholarship and other prizes. The Miss Georgia was a part of her. Georgia and also made appearances in public all over Georgia in the course of her obligations. Mohr represented Georgia at the Miss America 1986 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey during September of 1985. Through computer-generated modeling, which successfully predicated that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were calculated at 22: 1. Mohr was not a finalist in the Top 10 to the national crown. Mohr's reign in the role of Miss Georgia lasted until she was crowned as her successor, Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28th, 1986.
