Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway shows - most recently the return of Violet - and originated roles in the Broadway productions that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster was the Star Search contestant at the age of 15 and has appeared on Bunheads and Psych. She has also appeared in Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has performed in the US and overseas together with Michael Rafter. They have covered songs off the debut album "Wish", as well the follow-up CD, An Evening With Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. In 2011, she was awarded an honorary doctorate from Ball State University where she is also on the faculty as a teacher as well as advisor to the Department of Theatre and Dance. In March of 2015 she is a TVLand star in the debut series "Younger" created by Darren Star.
